A Robin Hood adventure for modern kids
A summer picnic in Sherwood Forest turns into a big adventure for the Youth Choir of St. Botolph’s as they are swept back in time to the days of Robin Hood…
The ‘Merry Men’ have been locked up by the wicked Sheriff of Nottingham and the kids find themselves ‘outlaws’ in Robin’s band – except for Wayne and Kev who are now the Sheriff’s henchmen. And then Maid Marion is kidnapped and taken to Nottingham to marry the oily Sir Gaston. First Marion must be rescued, then the Merry Men. A tall order for a bunch of twentieth century kids who aren’t much good with swords and cross-bows. But the kids have brought with them a few twentieth–century surprises…
Swashbuckling action and songs combine with modern gadgetry in an unusual, fun-filled adventure for 5-12 year old children.
Kids of Sherwood was co-written by David Conville and David Gooderson.
